Taking centre stage at Christmas in Cambridge at Parker’s Piece come and join us on Cambridge’s largest outdoor ice rink! Whether you're a Dancing on Ice champion, a total newbie or just about anything in between, you can be sure to find some festive cheer on the surface of our real, genuine ice rink.

All that skating got you tired? Or do you simply just want to kick back whilst overlooking the skaters? Enjoy festive treats from our rink side catering units. Not getting your skates on? Book a an evening in our Alpine Lodge Bar or Apres Terrace.

SKATE SESSIONS

Get your skates on and take to the ice for an uninterrupted 1hr session. Skate in comfort with our all-new boots and take your pick from laces or straps.

Socks (£1) and gloves (£3) are available to purchase at the ice rink.

SKATE AIDS

Taking your little ones on to the ice or a little less confident? Our 'Sled' skate aid allows younger ones a more sure-footed experience.

Pre-booking is advised. Please note these are only available with a child ticket or family ticket.

STUDENT NIGHTS

Join us for the first three Tuesday skating sessions of the season at 6pm on 18 November, 25 November and 2 December. After skating, head to the Alpine Lodge and enjoy BOGOF on selected beer and cider.(With a valid student ID)

SKATING FOR SCHOOLS

We offer an incredible discount on ice skating for schools from Monday- Friday up until 13th December 2024.

£11:00 per student and teachers skate FREE! Includes 1 hour on the ice for all students and teachers to enjoy within a safe environment.

CHILD £13.50

Available for children under 12 years of age.

CONCESSION £15.00

For students aged 13-17 & senior citizens (valid ID required).

ADULT £16.00

Available for 18 years of age and over.

FAMILY £50.50

Available for x2 adults and x2 under 18s or x1 adult and x3 under 18s

TODDLER TIME We offer toddler time on the rink for £23.50, which includes 1 adult, 1 child (under 12yrs) and 1 skate aid (normally £32.50). This offer is available from Monday - Friday up until 13th December 2024 and is only valid for the 11.45am and 13.00pm sessions.

The Alpine Lodge

Our indoor Alpine Lodge bar offers an authentic taste of Christmas complete with fully festive decor, steins of beer, beer towers, delicious mulled wine, and all of your festive favourites. Check out the outside seating area including ski gondola seating booths and even a heated Christmas Tipi!

Step into a sparkling world of lights and laughter as you explore our Christmas Tree Maze. Perfect for all ages, this festive favourite is a must-visit at Christmas in Cambridge.

The Big Wheel

Soar above the festivities with a ride on the Big Wheel, one of the highlights of Christmas in Cambridge. Enjoy breathtaking views over the twinkling lights, market stalls and the surrounding city skyline.

It is a must-do festive experience for visitors of all ages.

Visits from Santa

Santa will be at the Christmas Tipi every Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM, before making his way through Christmas in Cambridge until 6 PM. It is the perfect chance to see him up close and share a little festive magic.
